The most common side effects of Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet are – Headache, Congestive Heart Failure, Edema, Blurred Vision, Decreased Visual Acuity, Macular Edema, Pharyngitis, Sinusitis, Tooth Disorders, Fractures, Myalgia

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet

Do not use Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Pioglitazone, Metformin

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet works

Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet contains – Pioglitazone, Metformin

Pioglitazone works by increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin, a natural substance that helps control blood sugar levels.

Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Dosage of Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet

The dosage of Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Pioneer M 15mg/500mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- gemfibrozil, rifampin: Possibly altered glucose control.

ketoconazole: Possibly decreased metabolism of pioglitazone.

oral contraceptives: Possibly decreased effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
