The most common side effects of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule are - Asthenia, Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia, Orthostatic Hypotension, Nasal Congestion, Nasopharyngitis, Rhinorrhea, Sinusitis, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Retrograde Ejaculation
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule
Do not use Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule if you are allergic to - Silodosin, Dutasteride
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule
Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule contains - Silodosin, Dutasteride
Silodosin causes relaxation of smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder tissues by antagonizing postsynaptic alpha adrenoreceptors, thereby improving urine flow and reducing signs and symptoms of BPH.
Dutasteride inhibits 5-alpha reductase, an intracellular enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone DHT in the prostate gland, reducing serum DHT level.
Overdose of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule
The dosage of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule
If you forget to take a dose of Prostagard D 8mg/0.5mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
