The most common side effects of Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet are - Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Headache, Dizziness, Bloating, Gas, Stomach Pain

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet

Do not use Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Rifaximin, Metronidazole

How Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet works

Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet contains - Rifaximin, Metronidazole

Rifaximin stops the growth of bacteria.

Metronidazole is a direct-acting trichomonicide and amebicide that works inside and outside the intestines. It's thought to enter the cells of microorganisms that contain nitroreductase, forming unstable compounds that bind to DNA and inhibit synthesis, causing cell death.

The dosage of Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Rifaxigyl-M 200mg/400mg Tablet
