Interactions

Drug :-Gemfibrozil: May increase montelukast plasma concentration. Adjust montelukast dosage as needed.

Phenobarbital, rifampin: May decrease bioavailability of montelukast because of hepatic metabolism induction. Monitor patient for effectiveness.
