Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis

Side effects of Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR

The most common side effects of Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR are – Fever, Headache, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Rash, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting


These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR

Do not use Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR if you are allergic to – Sulfasalazine

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR contains – Sulfasalazine

Sulfasalazine work to decrease pain and inflammation, prevent joint damage and preserve joint mobility.

The dosage of Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Sazo 1000mg Tablet DR

Interaction

Drug :- bone marrow depressants: Increased leukopenic and thrombocytopenic effects of both drugs.

digoxin: Possibly inhibited absorption and decreased blood level of digoxin.

folic acid vitamin B9: Decreased folic acid absorption.

hepatotoxic drugs: Increased risk of hepatotoxicity.

hydantoins, oral anticoagulants, oral antidiabetic drugs: Increased, prolonged, or toxic effects of these drugs.

methotrexate, phenylbutazone, sulfinpyrazone: Possibly potentiated effects of these drugs.
