The most common side effects of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet are - Dizziness, Fatigue, Fever, Headache, Abnormal Vision, Abdominal Pain, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting, Rash
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet
Do not use Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Oxcarbazepine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
Dosage of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet
Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet contains - Oxcarbazepine
Oxcarbazepine may prevent or halt seizures by closing or blocking sodium channels in neuronal cell membrane. By preventing sodium from entering the cell, oxcarbazepine may slow nerve impulse transmission, thus decreasing the rate at which neurons fire.
Overdose of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet
The dosage of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Onset of Action of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Selzic -OD 600mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :-
carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, valproic acid: Decreased blood oxcarbazepine level, possibly increased blood levels of phenobarbital and phenytoin.
felodipine, verapamil: Decreased blood levels of these drugs.
oral contraceptives: Decreased effectiveness.
Activity :-
alcohol use: Possibly additive CNS depressant effects.
