Sermind 100mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder

Side effects of Sermind 100mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Sermind 100mg Tablet are – Fatigue, Headache, Dry Mouth, Nausea, Diarrhea, Loose Stools, Dyspepsia, Vomiting, Constipation, Abdominal Pain


These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Sermind 100mg Tablet

Do not use Sermind 100mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Sertraline

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Sermind 100mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

Sermind 100mg Tablet contains – Sertraline

Sertraline works by affecting the balance of chemicals in the brain. Specifically, it increases the level of a neurotransmitter called serotonin in the brain. Increased serotonin levels can help improve mood, reduce panic attacks, and treat OCD.

Dosage of Sermind 100mg Tablet

The dosage of Sermind 100mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Sermind 100mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Sermind 100mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- Agents with antiplatelet properties (P2Y12 inhibitors, NSAIDs, SSRIs): May enhance antiplatelet effect.

Amphetamines, buspirone, dextromethorphan, dihydroergotamine, lithium salts, meperidine, other SSRIs or SSNRIs (duloxetine, venlafaxine), sumatriptan, TCAs, tramadol , trazodone, tryptophan: May increase the risk of serotonin syndrome.

Triptans: May cause serotonin syndrome (restlessness, hallucinations, loss of coordination, fast heartbeat, rapid changes in BP, increased body temperature, hyperreflexia, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea) or neuroleptic malignant syndrome-like reactions.
