Side effects of Silodal-D 8 Combipack

The most common side effects of Silodal-D 8 Combipack are – Asthenia, Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia, Orthostatic Hypotension, Nasal Congestion, Nasopharyngitis, Rhinorrhea, Sinusitis, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Retrograde Ejaculation

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Silodal-D 8 Combipack

Do not use Silodal-D 8 Combipack if you are allergic to – Silodosin, Dutasteride

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Silodal-D 8 Combipack.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Silodal-D 8 Combipack works

Silodal-D 8 Combipack contains – Silodosin, Dutasteride

Silodosin causes relaxation of smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder tissues by antagonizing postsynaptic alpha adrenoreceptors, thereby improving urine flow and reducing signs and symptoms of BPH.

Dutasteride inhibits 5-alpha reductase, an intracellular enzyme that converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone DHT in the prostate gland, reducing serum DHT level.

Dosage of Silodal-D 8 Combipack

The dosage of Silodal-D 8 Combipack depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Silodal-D 8 Combipack

If you forget to take a dose of Silodal-D 8 Combipack, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Drug :- Alpha blockers: May cause interactions.

Antihypertensives: May cause dizziness and orthostatic hypotension.

Moderate CYP3A4 inhibitors (diltiazem, erythromycin, verapamil): May increase silodosin level.
