Singulair 5mg Tablet is a highly selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that acts by inhibiting the leukotriene receptors found in airway cells. by which it reduces inflammation in the airways and cures the symptoms of respiratory diseases.

Interaction

Drug :-Gemfibrozil: May increase montelukast plasma concentration. Adjust montelukast dosage as needed.

Phenobarbital, rifampin: May decrease bioavailability of montelukast because of hepatic metabolism induction. Monitor patient for effectiveness.
