Sionara 200mg Capsule is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Menstrual Pain

Side effects of Sionara 200mg Capsule

The most common side effects of Sionara 200mg Capsule are – Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Nausea, Pancreatitis, Perforation of Stomachor Intestine, Vomiting

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Sionara 200mg Capsule

Do not use Sionara 200mg Capsule if you are allergic to – Celecoxib

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Sionara 200mg Capsule.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Sionara 200mg Capsule works

Sionara 200mg Capsule contains – Celecoxib

Celecoxib works to relieve pain and inflammation by blocking an enzyme in the body called cyclo-oxygenase-2 (COX-2). COX-2 is involved in the production of irritant substances in the body in response to disease.

Dosage of Sionara 200mg Capsule

The dosage of Sionara 200mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Sionara 200mg Capsule

If you forget to take a dose of Sionara 200mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interaction

Drug :- ACE inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor.

antagonists: Decreased antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors and angiotensin II receptor antagonists, increased risk of renal failure.

aspirin: Increased risk of GI ulceration and other GI complications.

fluconazole: Increased blood celecoxib level.

furosemide, thiazide diuretics: Reduced diuretic effects of these drugs, increased risk of renal failure.

lithium: Possibly elevated blood lithium level.

warfarin: Possibly increased PT and risk of bleeding.
