Side effects of Solon 10mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Solon 10mg Tablet are – Sleep problems, Nausea, Stomach Pain, Bloating, Sweating, Acne
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Solon 10mg Tablet
Do not use Solon 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Prednisolone
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Solon 10mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
How Solon 10mg Tablet works
Solon 10mg Tablet contains – Prednisolone
Prednisolone decreases inflammation, mainly by stabilizing leukocyte lysosomal membranes, suppresses immune response, stimulates bone marrow and influences protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism.
Dosage of Solon 10mg Tablet
The dosage of Solon 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Solon 10mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Solon 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.
Overdose symptoms – Nausea, vomiting, insomnia, bloating and swelling in the belly area, restlessness.
Onset of Action Solon 10mg Tablet
It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to show the effect of the medicine.
Duration of Action Solon 10mg Tablet
Effect of medication lasts for an average of 8 to 9 hours.
Precautions & Warnings
Drinking alcohol may increase the risk of osteoporosis (disease in which bones become weak and brittle).
Not recommended for pregnant women. Please consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
This medicine is probably safe for breastfeeding women. However; Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Not safe during driving; you may feel dizzy or sleepy after taking this medicine.
This medicine is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. However; Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Drug :- Aspirin, indomethacin, other NSAIDs: May increase risk of GI distress and bleeding. Use together cautiously.
Azole antifungals (fluconazole, ketoconazole): May increase antifungal toxicity. Reduce steroid dosage as needed.
Toxoids, vaccines: May decrease antibody response and may increase risk of neurologic complications. Avoid using together.
