Side effects of Supiron B 5mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Supiron B 5mg Tablet are – Ataxia, Dizziness, Somnolence, Tremor, Abnormal Gait, Abnormal Thinking, Amnesia, Anxiety, Asthenia, Confusion, Depersonalization, Euphoria, Headache, Hypesthesia, Hypertonia, Incoordination, Myoclonus, Nervousness, Vertigo

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Supiron B 5mg Tablet

Do not use Supiron B 5mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Buspirone

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Supiron B 5mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Supiron B 5mg Tablet works

Supiron B 5mg Tablet contains – Buspirone

Buspirone may act as a partial agonist at serotonin 5- hydroxytryptamine1A receptors in the brain, producing antianxiety effects.

Dosage of Supiron B 5mg Tablet

The dosage of Supiron B 5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Supiron B 5mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Supiron B 5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

ketoconazole and ritonavir: Possibly inhibited buspirone metabolism and increased blood level.

MAO inhibitors: Increased risk of hypertension.

rifampin: Decreased blood buspirone level and pharmacodynamic effects.

Food :- Possibly decreased buspirone clearance grapefruit juice: Increased blood buspirone level.
