Side effects of Telista Plus 20 Tablet

The most common side effects of Telista Plus 20 Tablet are – Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Telista Plus 20 Tablet

Do not use Telista Plus 20 Tablet if you are allergic to – Telmisartan, Atorvastatin

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Telista Plus 20 Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Telista Plus 20 Tablet works

Telista Plus 20 Tablet contains – Telmisartan, Atorvastatin

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.

Atorvastatin reduces plasma cholesterol and lipoprotein levels by inhibiting HMG-CoA reductase and cholesterol synthesis in the liver and by increasing the number of LDL receptors on liver cells to enhance LDL uptake and breakdown.

Dosage of Telista Plus 20 Tablet

The dosage of Telista Plus 20 Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Telista Plus 20 Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Telista Plus 20 Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interaction

Drug :- digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.

diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.

lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.

ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
