Side effects of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet are – Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet
Do not use Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Telmisartan, Metoprolol

How Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet works
Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet contains – Telmisartan, Metoprolol
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.
Dosage of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet
The dosage of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Telma-Beta 40mg/50mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.
ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
