How Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet worksTelma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet contains - Telmisartan, Indapamide
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Indapamide enhances excretion of sodium chloride and water by interfering with sodium transport in the distal tubule.
Dosage of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg TabletThe dosage of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg TabletIf you forget to take a dose of Telma D 40mg/1.5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

InteractionDrug :- digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.
ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
