The most common side effects of Themigrel 75mg Tablet are - Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Themigrel 75mg Tablet

Do not use Themigrel 75mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Clopidogrel

How Themigrel 75mg Tablet works

Themigrel 75mg Tablet contains - Clopidogrel

Clopidogrel binds to adenosine diphosphate ADP receptors on the surface of activated platelets. This action blocks ADP, which deactivates nearby glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptors and prevents fibrinogen from attaching to receptors. Without fibrinogen, platelets can't aggregate and form thrombi.

Dosage of Themigrel 75mg Tablet

The dosage of Themigrel 75mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Themigrel 75mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Themigrel 75mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- aspirin: Increased risk of bleeding CYP2C19 inhibitors, such as cimetidine, esomeprazole, etravirine, felbamate, fluconazole, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, ketoconazole, omeprazole, ticlopidine, voriconazole: Decreased plasma clopidogrel level, decreased platelet inhibition.

fluvastatin, phenytoin, tamoxifen, tolbutamide, torsemide: Interference with metabolism of these drugs.

NSAIDs: Increased risk of GI bleeding, interference with NSAID metabolism.

warfarin: Prolonged bleeding time, interference with warfarin metabolism.
