Interactions

Drug :- beta blockers, MAO inhibitors type B, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, tricyclic antidepressants: Possibly increased blood levels of these drugs.

cimetidine, other hepatic enzyme inhibitors: Significantly decreased terbinafine clearance, possibly increased adverse reactions.

hepatotoxic drugs: Increased risk of hepatotoxicity.

rifampin: Increased clearance and decreased effectiveness of terbinafine.

Food :- caffeine: Decreased caffeine clearance.

Activity :- alcohol use: Increased risk of severe hepatitis.
