Precautions while using Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension

Do not use Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension if you are allergic to – Ursodeoxycholic Acid

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension.

How Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension works

Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension contains – Ursodeoxycholic Acid

Ursodeoxycholic Acid suppresses hepatic synthesis, biliary secretion, and intestinal reabsorption of cholesterol. Prolonged use promotes dissolution of gallstones.

Dosage of Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension

The dosage of Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension

If you forget to take a dose of Udcament 125mg/5ml Suspension, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- aluminum-containing antacids, cholestyramine, colestipol: Decreased absorption and therapeutic effects of ursodiol.

clofibrate, estrogens, neomycin, oral contraceptives, progestins: Interference with ursodiol's therapeutic effects, increased risk of gallstone formation.

Food :- any foods: Increased dissolution of drug.
