Interactions

Drug :- ACE inhibitors: May cause renal impairment. Use together cautiously.

Antihypertensives, diuretics: May decrease effect of these drugs. Monitor patient closely.

Aspirin, corticosteroids: May cause adverse GI reactions. Avoid using together.

Digoxin: May increase serum digoxin level. Monitor levels.

Lithium: May increase lithium level. Observe patient for toxicity and monitor level. Adjustment of lithium dosage may be required.

Loop diuretics, thiazide diuretics: May reduce diuretic effects. Monitor patient and consider therapy modification.

Methotrexate: May cause toxicity. Monitor patient closely.

Oral anticoagulants, NSAIDs, SSRIs, other sulfonylureas, highly protein-bound drugs: May cause toxicity. Monitor patient closely.

Potassium-sparing diuretics: May reduce antihypertensive effects and enhance hyperkalemic effects. Monitor patient closely.

Probenecid: May decrease elimination of naproxen. Monitor patient for toxicity.

Herb :- Alfalfa, anise, bilberry, dong quai, feverfew, garlic, ginger, ginkgo, horse chestnut, licorice, red clover: May cause bleeding, based on the known effects of components. Discourage use together.

White willow: Herb and drug contain similar components. Discourage use together.
