Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Bacterial Infections (Urinary Tract, Joint, Skin)

Side effects of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection

The most common side effects of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection are – Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection

Do not use Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection if you are allergic to – Ceftriaxone, Sulbactam

How Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection works

Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection contains – Ceftriaxone, Sulbactam

Ceftriaxone interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting cross-linking of peptidoglycan strands. Peptidoglycan makes the cell membrane rigid and protective. Without it, bacterial cells rupture and die.

Dosage of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection

The dosage of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection

If you forget to take a dose of Xone SB 500 mg/250 mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
