Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is used to prevent high blood sugar and kidney damage in people with type 2 diabetes. It is also used to prevent blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, sexual function problems.

How Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet works.

Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of Metformin and Teneligliptin. Metformin works by reducing the amount of sugar that the liver releases into the blood, it makes the body respond better to insulin, Insulin is a hormone that controls blood sugar levels. Teneligliptin works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas, which helps to lower blood sugar levels in the body.

Side Effects of Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet.

The most common side effects of Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet are Diarrhea, Nausea, Tiredness, Weakness, Unusual Muscle Pain, Trouble Breathing, Unusual Sleepiness, Stomach Pain, Heartburn, Gas, Stomach Pains, Vomiting, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Irritability, Sweating, Hunger, Irregular Heart Rate, Headache. These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while Taking Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet.

Do not consume Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet if you are allergic to Metformin and Teneligliptin. If you have kidney disease, heart disease, liver disease, consult your doctor before using Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet. To avoid adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

The dosage of Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the user’s age, health and many other conditions, please take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet.

If you forget to take a dose of Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose. The most common symptoms of overdose with Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet are stomach pain, unusual sleepiness, tiredness or weakness, diarrhoea, breathing problem. Immediately contact your doctor if an overdose with Ziten-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is suspected.

It takes about 1 to 3 hour to show the effect of the medicine.
