Tuberculosis, commonly known as TB, is a bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It primarily affects the lungs but can also spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms include cough, weight loss, and fatigue. Treatment involves a combination of antibiotics over a prolonged period.
